The Lakers took on a powerful Bath team and lost 50-21 on the road while Fairbanks was on the short end of a 42-7 decision against Colonel Crawford.

Coach Jonn Rapp said, “Our offense showed spurts of good things at times. We left some points on the field with a few stalled drives and still managed to score 21. Some of our special teams performed well covering kicks and getting return yards.”

He said that Fairbanks will use a variety of formations on offense, including double tight ends, three backs or five wide in the shotgun.

“The main focus this week has been winning our one-on-one battles,” said Rapp.

Next Friday will see the Lakers are home again to take on Allen East.
