Two drivers escaped serious injuries Thursday afternoon April 24, following a crash at U.S. Route 33 and County Road 57.

Justin Kreutzer, 29, of Woodstock, was driving a 2022 Ford F-350 about 4:15 p.m. south on C.R. 57 when he failed to yield at the intersection and struck a 2022 Chrysler 300 traveling eastbound on U.S. 33, troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report. The Chrysler then went off the right side of the road, overturned and came to rest on its top.

The Chrysler’s driver, Adam Holton, 41, of Lakeview, sustained minor injuries and was transported by squad to Mary Rutan Hospital. Kreutzer also sustained minor injures, but was not transported, troopers said.

Damage to the vehicles was heavy.

The drivers each were wearing seat belts.

Numerous serious crashes have occurred at the intersection over the years.

Traffic in the area was delayed for a time.
