A local specialty store is growing, and the community is invited to help join in the celebration later this week.
The Costume Shop, owned by Amy and Ward Cartwright, will host its official grand opening at its brand-new location, 315 E. Main St., Russells Point, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, July 18, and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 19.
Since first opening its doors on Oct. 16, 2021, The Costume Shop has become a go-to spot for costumes, rentals and dress-up fun all year long.
Thanks to the incredible support from loyal customers and the surrounding community, the shop has outgrown its original space and is now thrilled to welcome visitors to its new home in the heart of downtown Russells Point.
The grand opening celebration promises family-friendly fun for all ages, with character meet-and-greets, exciting prizes, a delicious food truck, refreshing lemonade trucks, and plenty of surprises.
Whether you’re planning ahead for Halloween, school projects, or just love a good costume party, this is the perfect time to explore what The Costume Shop has to offer.
Amy and Ward Cartwright are grateful for the community’s continued support and can’t wait to share this new chapter with friends old and new, they shared.
