Kareem Williams, 36, of Bellefontaine, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct following a dispute investigated Thursday, Jan. 30, by deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded shortly after 10 p.m. to a report of a verbal domestic dispute at a residence in the 1400 block of County Road 1. Dispatch had advised that Williams was inside a vehicle revving the engine and making threats to hit the house.

Upon arrival, deputies spoke with Williams, who reportedly was loud and verbally aggressive. After being calmed down by deputies, Williams explained that there had been a verbal dispute, and he admitted to taking the cord for the wireless router, which she used for communication because her phone didn’t data.

Brittany told deputies that Williams had been yelling throughout the day, and she had previously declined to press charges when deputies responded to an earlier incident at the residence.

He was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
