Shirley M. Arledge, 85, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine surrounded by her family. She was born in Bellefontaine on March 17, 1937, to the late William and Helen (Sullivan) Tracey. She is also preceded in death by a brother and 2 sisters.

On September 3, 1955, she married Carl E. Arledge, and he survives. She is also survived by her children: Theresa (James) Vermillion, Michael Arledge, Lori Arledge, and Thomas (Francesca Barrientos) Arledge; grandchildren: Kristina (Jared) Glaspell, Jason (Nicole Pavon) Marker, Kylie (Evan) Novak, Lindsay Marker, Aubrey (Barry) Eley, Tanner (Courtney) Arledge; 10 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her pet companion, Addie.

Shirley was a member of the Stony Creek Church of the Brethren, Sweet Adalines, Red Hat Society, and King’s Daughters. She loved to travel and went on many trips with the Logan County Senior Center. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Pastor Harold Liess will officiate a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main Street, Bellefontaine. Visitation will be two hours prior from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Stony Creek Church of the Brethren, 3570 County Rd 31 S, Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
