Rodney A. “Nondo” Scott II, 50, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Rodney was born in Kenton, Ohio, on January 31, 1973, to the late Rodney A. and Manuela “Nellie” (Mirelez) Scott. He is survived by his partner, Tracie Ferguson-Scott of Huntsville; children: Rodney A. (Jasmine) Scott III, and Mia Scott, both of Huntsville; a brother Jason Scott of Alger; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Max.

Rodney worked as a carpenter for many years. He loved to work on his diesel truck, and could usually be found tinkering, tearing apart, or repairing something. Rodney may have been rough around the edges, but he truly enjoyed helping people.

In the big picture, Rodney’s death helped give life to many people as he was an organ and tissue donor.

A celebration of Rodney’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home to help the family with cremation expenses.

Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, is honored to serve the Scott family and encourages anyone to share a fond memory or message of condolence at www.edsfh.com.
