Indian Lake junior Brodey Reisinger has been named the Central Buckeye Conference Mad River Division Player of the Year, capping a dominant season that powered the Lakers to an unbeaten run through conference play.
Reisinger led Indian Lake to the Mad River Division championship with a perfect 9–0 conference record, with one league game remaining. His all-around production anchored a Lakers squad built on defense, rebounding, and balanced scoring.
Through 21 games, Reisinger averaged 17.4 points and a conference-best 11.4 rebounds per game, finishing with 366 total points. He shot 44.9 percent from the field, while adding 53 assists, 53 steals, and 53 made free throws, underscoring his two-way impact.
Reisinger’s scoring average ranked third overall in the CBC, tied with North Union’s Dainon Lindsey, and his rebounding total led the conference regardless of position.
Indian Lake’s strength this season extended well beyond its Player of the Year.
Senior Avery Pequignot earned First Team All-CBC honors after averaging 13.8 points per game, while contributing defensively with blocks and perimeter pressure. Senior Cooper Hall and junior Tyler Tidwell were named to the Second Team, with Hall ranking among the conference’s top assist leaders at 3.9 assists per game and Tidwell finishing among the CBC’s most efficient scorers, shooting 52.6 percent from the field.
Junior Colin Bendler received Special Mention, and senior Weston Campbell was recognized with a Sportsmanship Award, reflecting the Lakers’ depth, discipline, and team-first approach throughout the season.
Indian Lake’s conference title and individual honors capped one of the strongest Mad River Division seasons in program history, marked by defensive consistency, rebounding dominance, and the steady production of Reisinger at the center of the lineup.
The Lakers, 17-4 overall, close the regular season Friday, Feb. 20, hosting Shawnee at 6 p.m., before turning their attention to tournament play.
