The Logan County Electric Cooperative’s float, along with more than 70 other parade entries, lit up the city streets Friday evening, Dec. 5, at the annual Downtown Bellefontaine Hometown Christmas Parade. The Red Ranger from the Power Rangers waves to parade attendees, who bundled up in their warmest winter gear for the frigid temperatures. Santa’s Toy Shop made a stop in downtown Bellefontaine in a cozy scene complete with a fireplace on Honda’s parade float Friday night. Honda and Citizens Federal Savings & Loan were sponsors for the evening’s festivities, which also featured a host of other fun before the parade, including Christmas crafts, food trucks, and warming up with hot chocolate while meeting the Christmas Highland Cows.
