Minor injuries to a passenger were reported following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of E. Patterson Ave. and Ludlow Rd. at about 11:17 a.m. Sunday, July 27.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report Melissa Vance, 49, of 4353 County Road 55, was operating an eastbound vehicle on Patterson Avenue when she failed to stop at the intersection of Ludlow Road, striking the passenger side of a pickup truck driven by Phillip McNutt, 208 Pearce Ave., which was traveling southbound on Ludlow Rd.
Krista McNutt, a passenger in the McNutt vehicle, reportedly suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported by the Bellefontaine Fire Department EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment.
Vance was cited for a stop sign violation and both vehicles sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.
