MARYSVILLE — The City of Marysville Design Review Board is scheduled to consider multiple commercial development proposals during its meeting on Jan. 14, including projects tied to the continued expansion of Marysville East.

One of the applications up for review involves a proposed Olive Garden restaurant planned along U.S. 36 on the city’s east edge, the Marysville Journal-Tribune reports. The broader commercial development associated with the proposal includes landscaping plans for two multi-tenant buildings, as well as a possible standalone drive-thru building within the same development area.

Application materials submitted to the city indicate the proposed development site encompasses approximately 15.55 acres.

Also on the agenda is a proposed commercial development for Tansky Powersports, planned for Square Drive. Plans to be presented to the Design Review Board include associated landscaping and parking improvements, with the proposed site covering approximately 3.952 acres.

Both projects are expected to be reviewed as part of the city’s design approval process for new commercial developments. If approved by the Design Review Board, the proposals would advance to the Planning Commission for further consideration.
