Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department reported the arrest of Bradley W. Tackett, 25, address at large, after being called to Honda Warehouse, 30 Hunter Place, at about 7:41 a.m. Tuesday, June 24.
Witnesses at the warehouse reported said that Tackett was attempting to gain entrance to the building by pulling on multiple doors of the building and was also wandering around the parking lot, at which time police were notified.
Once officers arrived and questioned Tackett, they found him to be acting and talking erratically. His speech was reportedly slurred and unintelligible and he was unable to provide police with his current address.
Tackett was then arrested and charged with public intoxication.
Jail staff administered a urine test on Tackett, which came up positive for cocaine, and a small cellophane wrapper was found on Tackett’s person, which also tested positive for the presence of cocaine. Tackett reportedly admitted to using cocaine earlier in the day before being lodged in the Logan County Jail on the public intoxication charge.
