A beautiful fall Saturday afternoon was the backdrop for the 2nd annual Praise in the Park event at the DeGraff Park. The event featured several praise and worship song performances, and plenty of prayers and testimony from those in attendance. The Temple of Quincy’s singers (ABOVE) and Lakeview resident Heather Kean (BELOW) were among those performing. Mrs. Kean, who celebrated her 49th birthday Saturday, shared testimony that she accepted Christ at age 10, and that her strong faith has sustained her through difficult life situations, protracted illnesses and more recently, the joy of her first grandchild, 5-month-old Bennett, who she held on stage while singing a lullaby that she used to sing to her now adult children when they were babies.
