Larry A. Stewart, 74, of Zanesfield, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

A 1968 graduate of Logan Hills High School, Larry worked for many years at Glacier Daido/DAB in Bellefontaine and later for Honda at the East Liberty Plant, from which he retired. He enjoyed going to auctions, collecting antiques and watching old westerns. Having a love for cooking, he was well-known for his paper bag apple pie.

Born July 16, 1949 in Kenton, he was the son of the late Richard and Hazel (Loubert) Stewart. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Jimmy Stewart and his sisters, Peggy Stewart and Nancy Karg.

On December 7, 1975 in Bellefontaine, he married his wife of nearly 48 years, Carolyn (Graves) Stewart, and she survives in Zanesfield. He is also survived by his pride and joy, his beloved fur babies, Echo and Baby Girl; brothers, Garry (Charlotte) Stewart of Marysville, Kerry (Cathy) Stewart of Delaware, Barry Stewart of Kenton, Jerry (Mary Lou) Stewart of Huntsville, TX and Terry (Glenda) Stewart of Marysville; a sister, Merry Stewart of Marysville; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, at the Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel, 222 W. Center St., West Mansfield. Burial will follow at the North Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, at the funeral home.
