Saturday, June 28, as part of the finale of the LoCo Open Show Buckle Series, the 2025-2026 Logan County Junior and Senior Horse Ambassadors were selected. Kayla Smith, the 2024-2025 Senior Horse Ambassador was on hand to pass the reins to the next set of representatives. Emmery Howell, pictured at the left, an incoming freshman of Worthington Kilbourne, daughter of Shana Howell and Dave Teynor of Columbus, was honored with the title of Logan County Junior Horse Ambassador. She has been in 4-H for 6 years as a member of Mac-o-Chee Mustangs. She enjoys showing her horse Bo, her rabbit Huey, and she enjoys cooking. Sadie Staats, pictured at the right, the 18 year-old daughter of Doug and Karen Staats, and recent Benjamin Logan graduate, was honored to be chosen as the 2025 Logan County Senior Horse Ambassador. She is a nine-year member of Manes n’ Reins 4 -H Club and plans to attend Capital University in the fall, majoring in music education.
