Gaythel Jean Krauss, 85, of Bellefontaine passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Vancrest of Urbana.
Gaythel was born August 24, 1937, in Bellefontaine to the late Albert J. and Cleo Belle (Headings) Gantz. On November 12, 1961, in Bellefontaine, she married the love of her life David Lee Krauss, who preceded her in death in 1993.
She is survived by her children, Tina (Jeff) Fish of West Liberty, OH and Kevin Krauss of Richwood, OH; grandchildren, Nathan (Mindie) Fish of West Liberty, OH, Gretchen Fish of West Liberty, OH and Katilyn (Paul) Anderson of Bellefontaine, OH; great grandchildren, Natalie, Marissa, Owen, Mariah & Jayden Fish of West Liberty, OH, McCartney and McKinley Allen of Bellefontaine, OH; sisters, Eileen Lee of Wapakoneta, OH, Jeri Ashba, of Belle Center, OH and Marjie King of West Liberty, OH; sisters-in-law, LaDonna Gantz of West Liberty, OH and Susie Gantz of Katy, TX; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death her loving husband of 31 years, David Lee Krauss; brothers, Ed Gantz, Bill Gantz and Bobby Gantz.
Memorial services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at the Monroe Community Church, 6458 County Rd 29, West Liberty, Ohio 43357.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Monroe Community Church or Ohio Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave Dayton, Ohio 45420. Family would also like to extend their appreciation to Vancrest Nursing Staff and Ohio Hospice of Dayton.
