Fred Junior Beair, 69, of Lakeview, OH, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, Tuesday night, July 2, 2024, at Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center.

Fred was born on September 19, 1954, in Fostoria, OH, a son of the late Fred Sr., and Josephine Madden Beair. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard and Jesse, a sister, Mildred “Sis” Brown, a brother-in-law, Mike Lane, a grandson, Shawn F.E. Beair, and two nephews, Jimmy Beair, and Greg Parker.

Fred is survived by his former wife and best friend, Kathy Beair, four children, Shawn (Renae) Beair, Stacy (Jesse) Hefner, Fred (Lindsay) Beair, and Chad (Emily) Beair, 13 grandchildren, Jessica Beair, Douglas Zachariah, Britney Zachariah, Cody Beair, Shelbie Snoke, Colton Beair, Tori Beair, Jayden Beair, Kaycie Beair, Wyatt Beair, Boston Beair, Morgan Beair, and Clayton Hefner, 10 great grandchildren, Ava Beair, Jayde Zachariah, Addyson Zachariah, Gannon Zachariah, Alijah Anderson, Aydn Anderson, Khloeigh Johnson, Ameer Howard, Kehlani Johnson, and Amari Howard, five siblings, Ruth Lane, Jerry Beair, Peggy (Terry) Stapleton, Larry Beair, and Jack (Karen) Beair, a brother-in-law, Pete Brown, and several nieces and nephews.

Fred attended Indian Lake High School and was a lifelong mechanic. He was a member of Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533, and Indian Lake Eagles Aeries #3615. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, gardening, riding horses, working on cars, and painting vehicles “RED”.

Pastor Jim Ellington will begin funeral services at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview. Visitation is Wednesday, July 10th from 5-8 p.m. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Fred’s memory to Indian Lake Rehabilitation Center. His family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff for their compassionate care.
