Thomas “Tom” Allen Swincher, 65, of Lakeview, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at his home.

Tom was born on July 30, 1958, in Sacremento, CA, the only son of the late Joe F. Swincher and Martha J. Brown Passarella.

Tom married Diana Gease on July 15, 1983, in Columbus, OH, and she survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Brittiny Swincher and Tiffiny (Chad) McCarty, five grandchildren, three sisters, Judy Camp of Little Rock, AR, Debbi Graham of Stillwater, OK, and Traci (Tom) Campbell of Benton, AR, father-in-law, Dave Gease of Lakeview, and numerous nieces and nephews, who all loved him dearly.

Tom was a 1977 graduate of Upper Arlington High School. He was a retired veteran of the United States Army, and then retired from Honda, working in Marysville. He was a member of Marysville FOE Aeries #3506, and Marysville Moose Lodge #1651 where he was a past Governor. Tom was full of laughter, love, and an endearing playfulness that followed him everywhere. Prior to experiencing health issues this past year, Tom loved cooking, and being outdoors; gardening or landscaping. He was an avid OSU Buckeyes fan. Above all, Tom loved his family and especially being around his grandchildren. Tom will be dearly missed.

Inurnment will be 1:30 pm, July 15, in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Columbus, OH with military rites performed by The Reynoldsburg Veterans Honor Guard.
