Several area churches offered meals throughout election day, Tuesday, Nov. 4. One of those was the Rushylvania United Methodist Church, which provided their annual chicken and noodles supper on a donation basis. According to Pastor April Phillips, the approximately $1,000 raised “will be used to support the ongoing ministries of our church, including local missions, our one-day-a-week preschool program, and other ministry needs that help us share God’s love and serve our community.” They served meals to 111 people.
