A domestic incident in the city Friday, Sept. 19, led to the arrest of both an adult and a juvenile by the Bellefontaine Police Department.
Officers report that they were called to a residence at 500 block of Ludlow Road twice, the first call on the report of an unruly juvenile, who was located nearby and returned home.
Approximately an hour later, police were again called to same house on the report of a fight between the female juvenile and an adult, Max A. Smith, 25, of Bellefontaine.
Both the juvenile and Smith showed signs of injury that were not present on either individual during their prior encounter with police.
Officers then arrested Smith of the charges endangering children and domestic violence and lodged him in the Logan County Jail, while the juvenile was taken into custody and taken to the Central Ohio Youth Center in Marysville on a probation violation charge.
