The organization set an ambitious goal of $1.1 million for the year, and the final result continues a multi-year trend of sustained local support, keeping United Way above the $1 million mark. In 2024, the local UW surpassed $1 million for the seventh consecutive year, finishing that campaign at $1,025,350.
The 2025 campaign drew broad participation from businesses, organizations and individual donors across Logan County.
McGillis thanked donors, volunteers and workplace campaign leaders for their generosity and commitment, and also recognized 2025 Campaign Chairman Dougie Boggs for his leadership and the time he dedicated to guiding the campaign.
Several awards were presented during the breakfast to recognize outstanding contributions made during the 2025 campaign.

A new honor was introduced this year with the Community Impact Award, presented to Tammy Gump as the inaugural recipient.
Tammy “goes above and beyond” in her service to United Way, often stepping in even when it is not her responsibility, McGillis noted.
McGillis also shared a look ahead, announcing that Women United will return to Logan County in 2026. The program paused during leadership transitions within the philanthropic hub, and its return is expected to further expand community engagement and impact.
