Bellefontaine welcomed the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites at 171 Dowell Ave. with a grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting on Friday, Oct. 10.
The new hotel features an onsite lounge, fitness center, indoor pool, conference room and a small convenience store.
“This is a huge community win,” Ben Vollrath, Logan County Chamber of Commerce president and CEO, said. “We realized a certain hotel quality could come here and it wouldn’t take away from what we have.” He added, “It’s on us to fill this place.”
Visitors enjoyed refreshments, participated in a drawing for a free stay, toured the building and met the Cobblestone team.
