The Logan County Sheriff’s Office, along with all the law enforcement agencies across Logan County, will be participating in the national Click It Or Ticket campaign. A number of participating agencies gathered this week at the Ohio Department of Transportation Logan County garage for a special kick-off event. The campaign officially began May 19 and continues through June 1. Additional officers will be on patrol throughout this time period. “Our goal is to make Logan County roads safe during the Memorial Day weekend and the entire year,” LCSO deputies said. “This being the first summer holiday weekend, we expect a larger number of vehicles on the roadways. There has been one fatal crash in Logan County this year. Along with a strong emphasis on seatbelt violations, officers will be watching for impaired drivers and aggressive driving behavior. The Logan County Sheriff’s Office wishes everyone safe Memorial weekend.” (LORYN BRYSON PHOTO | ODOT)
