Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report the arrest of Robert P. Scott, 56, of Bellefontaine, for aggravated menacing Monday, Nov. 17.
A complaint was filed alleging that Scott had threatened to harm two people, including a person who is confined to a wheelchair, as they were being transported to a medical appointment.
After taking statements from the victims and witnesses, police located Scott at his house on the west side of the city.
Several officers were called to the area when Scott reportedly left his house, departed the scene in his vehicle and was arrested shortly thereafter following a traffic stop.
Scott was taken into custody without further incident and lodged in the the Logan County Jail on the aggravated menacing warrant.
Dogs at large summons issued
Officers also report that they issued a dogs at large summons to Carrie Dolan, 60, of Bellefontaine, following a complaint at the Heritage Court Apartments Monday, Nov. 17, at 11:19 a.m.
