Caleb Charles Neff, 33, of Bellefontaine, OH, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. He was born on March 28, 1991. He lived most of his life in Champaign and Logan counties.

He started dating Samantha Clevenger Neff, the love of his life, in their junior year of high school. They had many fun and exciting times throughout their life together. There were lots of journeys and laughs.

They married August 24, 2013. Together they had four sons: Clinton Caleb, Blake Logan, Odin Foster, and Colt Onyx.  The boys were the lights of Caleb’s life. He enjoyed teaching them about the outdoors and fixing things, especially cars and tractors. They have inherited his creativity in solving all problems.

Caleb was the epitome of the hardworking, country boy.  He loved to listen to the radio loud with the windows down. He always had a variety of trucks and recently gifted Blake and Clint with his Chevy S-10. He also enjoyed old vans, including his blue Chevy, Guinevere. He always rode motorcycles and was recently a member of Eagles Breed Brotherhood motorcycle club of Saint Paris. He also enjoyed trips to Haspin Acres with his boys.  He was the guy who would show up in the middle of the night or the middle of the morning ready to day drink and/or work on a vehicle or a quad. He loved to spend time at the pond. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching Hitler documentaries and conspiracy theories.

Caleb was a caring person who was always ready to help out, from working on cars to fixing plumbing to clearing snow and whatever else might be needed. He instilled these qualities in his boys. He taught them the value of living life outdoors. All of them have inherited his mechanical abilities and kindness toward others. The skills and qualities he shared with his boys will live on forever. He was their star. He loved dearly, and he will forever be dearly loved. He will be profoundly missed. In spite of what he believed, his life mattered so much and always will.

Caleb was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Gene and Janice Stoner.

He is survived by his wife and sons, his mother, Angela Neff (Michael) of New Carlisle, sister Mercedes (Garrett) Kite of Urbana, grandparents Victoria and Gary Neff of Urbana, uncle Gary “Boomer” (Jenny) Neff of DeGraff, and aunt Nichole (Shane) Heath of Conover. Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Betty Clevenger, of DeGraff and his father-in-law, Don (Michelle) Clevenger of Beavercreek, lots of extended family, and many beloved friends. He was very excited that he was about to become an uncle.

Caleb graduated from Graham High School in 2010. He was a skilled mechanic who worked on vehicles both professionally and as a hobby. He was currently employed at EnviroCore of Plain City.
