The Bellefontaine Water Department issued a boil advisory about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, after a water main break on North U.S. Route 68 resulted in a loss of water pressure.
The following residences were affected:
149 Northview Dr.
260 Northview Dr.
1673 County Road 9
1640 N. Main St.
Affected residences should boil water for consumption for at least five minutes until further notice and allow muddy or discolored water to run clear.
