A 25-year-old Lakeview man operating an all-terrain vehicle sustained serious injuries Wednesday afternoon, July 9, in a two-vehicle crash near 11906 County Road 17 (Santa Fe Line Road).
Damien Dorsey was transported by Indian Lake EMS to Lima Memorial Hospital, deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report.
Deputies report Dorsey was traveling westbound on the ATV shortly before 5 p.m. when he attempted to cross C.R. 17 and struck a northbound 2010 Ford Tarus on the driver’s side.
Dorsey was thrown from the ATV during the crash.
Neither the Ford’s driver, Ashli Helton, 43, also of Lakeview, nor a teenage passenger in her vehicle reported any injuries.
The ATV sustained disabling damage and the car had functional damage. Each was towed from the scene.
