Jeff and Vicki Shafer of DeGraff will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, January 23, 2026.
The couple was married on January 23, 1976, at First United Methodist Church, with Dr. Acker officiating.
Mr. Shafer is the son of Stanley and Miriam Shafer. Mrs. Shafer is the daughter of Dean Ransbottom and Fran Besett.
Jeff Shafer worked for Vendor Team Services as an inventory analyst in Mooresville, North Carolina. Vicki Shafer is currently employed by Bruce Scheiner & Associates in Fort Myers, Florida.
The Shafers have three children: Kevin Shafer, Michelle Mathews (Jonathan), and Candace Coggins (Alan). They are also the proud grandparents of four grandchildren: Nicholas, Emily, Elliott, and Abigail.
A family celebration is planned for Saturday in Belle Center with friends and family, weather permitting.
