Robert R. Clem, Sr, 87, of DeGraff, OH, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at his home.
Robert was born at home in Champaign County, OH, on May 14, 1938, a son of the late Forest Clem, and Annie Wilkerson Batcher. Robert married Nevada Stratton on November 17, 1960, and she preceded him in death on December 19, 2018. He was also preceded in death by four siblings, an infant brother, Leroy Clem, Harold Clem and Juanita Mattox.
Robert is survived by a son, Robert (Alice) Clem, Jr., four grandchildren, Wes (Mendi Snapp) Clem, Kelli (Chris) Yoder, Scott (Jen) Kelly, and Kristen (Daniel) France, 10 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Robert retired from American Trim in Sidney, OH after 40 plus years. He was a member of Indian Lake Fish and Game. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, going out for dinner, and driving through the countryside with his canine companion, Ellie. He especially enjoyed trapshooting.
Funeral services will begin at 1 pm., Friday, November 21, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenwood-Union Cemetery, DeGraff, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Robert’s memorial to Indian Lake Fish and Game, 1055 St Rt 708 S, Russells Point, OH 43348.
