Bumblebee from Transformers, a robot skeleton and other spooky and creative characters line up for candy from a kindly witch Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Logan County History Center’s annual Halloween KidFest, which was free to area families to trick-or-treat through the Transportation Museum and the Logan County Museum, with the suggested donation of canned goods for a local food pantry. Children also received a pumpkin and craft kit to take home with them. The History Center expressed appreciation to their many volunteers who helped stage the event — Karen Beasley, Ginger Beasley, Marilyn Springs, Ben Stahler, David Saxby, Bruce and Louise Norris, Dave and Deb Allison, Amy McCormick, Julie Schrader, John McPherson, Ella Melendrez, Ray Stamm, Nancy Ledley, Betty McCullough, Marilyn Huffman, Chloe Simmons, Sarah & Esther Stanich, Karen Tracey, Bob Mattfeld, Jeanne Jenkins, Jody Nolin, Cheryl Hawkins, Bill Tipple, Doug Chamberlain, Dan Bratka, Erin Rudat, Imogene Van Voorhis, Tim McPherson, Leslie Warne, Tam Van Ness, Steve Mortimer, and the team from HLNA.
