The Bellefontaine City Council will conduct its regular bi-monthly meeting Tuesday, Oct. 28, in council chambers at 7:30 p.m.

One item is on the agenda for a third reading and final vote, that being an ordinance, which will approve supplemental appropriations for the auditor, city hall, tax, water and wastewater departments.

Up for second reading at Tuesday’s meeting is an ordinance that will make supplemental appropriations and amend the permanent appropriations ordinance for the purposes of engineering, revolving loan and insurance claims.

Two ordinances will be before the council for a first reading, the first of which will direct the service/safety director and/or the Fire Chief to enter into a contract with Heritage Fire Equipment for the purchase of a Sutphen Custom Pumper from Heritage Fire Equipment at the cost of $1,053,000. The second will amend Chapter 927 (storm water drainage system) of the codified ordinances of the city as required by the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.

The public is encouraged to attend.
