The Bellefontaine High School DARE Club hosted the 16th annual BHS Powderpuff competition, where the BHS senior girls rallied to become Powderpuff champions.
The event at AcuSport Stadium Tuesday night, Oct. 21, benefitted Relay for Life.
Girls from each of the four high school classes assembled teams.
In the first game, the juniors defeated the freshmen, and then the seniors beat the sophomores.
The seniors ran past the juniors 27-0 in the championship game.
The teams were coached by football players and other male students from their respective class.
About 70 students participated during the evening.
BHS DARE Club Advisor Matt Gallaway said more than $500 was raised for Relay for Life.
There was a $3 donation at the gate. Money was also raised from T-shirt sales and a local food truck (Fork in the Road).
