It was a night of dominant wins and narrow heartbreak for local football teams Friday, as London blanked Bellefontaine 48-0 and Indian Lake celebrated Homecoming with a 45-0 rout of Shawnee, while Benjamin Logan fell 14-13 to North Union and West Liberty-Salem was stung late in a 27-24 loss to Northeastern.
London 48, Bellefontaine 0
London overpowered host Bellefontaine on Friday at AcuSport Stadium, handing the Chieftains a shutout in Central Buckeye Conference action. The Red Raiders, now 7-0 with three straight shutouts, piled up 386 total yards — including 368 on the ground — while limiting Bellefontaine to just 78 yards and three first downs.
London scored on a punt return and three long drives to lead 28-0 at halftime. A third-quarter touchdown triggered the running clock, and two more scores sealed the win. Bryston Toronto had two rushing TDs, Kyler Russell scored twice, and Blake Reay added a rushing touchdown.
Bellefontaine, missing standout Carter Caudill due to injury, struggled to sustain drives. QB Reign St. Clair finished 8-of-14 for 37 yards, while Bryant Carter gained 38 yards on 12 carries. The Chieftains (3-4, 1-1 CBC) visit Tecumseh next week.

Indian Lake 45, Springfield Shawnee 0
Indian Lake celebrated Homecoming with a dominant shutout win over Springfield Shawnee in Central Buckeye Conference play. The Lakers exploded for 24 points in the second quarter and finished with 411 total yards while holding the Braves to 114.
Quarterback Brady Golliday went 16-of-23 for 200 yards and two touchdowns, both to Brodey Reisinger, who finished with 66 yards receiving. Noah Shirk carried 13 times for 93 yards and three scores, while Dawson Stevenson added a 53-yard touchdown run. Kicker Avery Pequignot drilled a 25-yard field goal and was perfect on six PATs.
The Lakers (5-2, 2-0 CBC) travel to Benjamin Logan next week.

North Union 14, Benjamin Logan 13
Benjamin Logan fell just short in another close Mad River Division battle, dropping a one-point decision at home. The Raiders led 13-7 at halftime after touchdowns by Jordan Pender and Cayden Brown, but North Union’s fourth-quarter score and extra point proved decisive.
Wyatt Predmore paced the Ben Logan offense with 106 rushing yards on eight carries, while also completing four passes for 71 yards. Ben Logan (3-4, 0-2 CBC) will host Indian Lake next Friday.

Northeastern 27, West Liberty-Salem 24
West Liberty-Salem built a 24-14 halftime lead on three touchdown passes from Beckett Sullivan, but Northeastern rallied with two unanswered second-half scores to win the Ohio Heritage Conference matchup.
Sullivan threw for 225 yards, connecting with Reese Oder twice for long touchdowns and with Isaac Sertell for another. Oder finished with 128 receiving yards. However, an 88-yard punt return by Jacoby Newman in the closing minutes swung the game.
WL-S (4-3, 1-1 OHC) will try to rebound in league play next week.
Northridge 27, Riverside 9
Visiting Northridge jumped ahead 20-0 in the first half and held Riverside in check for a Three Rivers Conference victory. Tre’von Rowe led the Polar Bears with 170 rushing yards and a score, while Willie Ellison added two TD runs.
Riverside got on the board before halftime with a Brody Orsborne touchdown pass to Dylan Trimble and later added a safety on a blocked punt, but the offense struggled to finish drives. Gunner Carpenter led the Pirates with 130 rushing yards.
Riverside (3-4, 2-2 TRC) will travel to Troy Christian next week.
