The Logan County Farm Bureau announced this week that the 2025 Logan County Agriculture Impact Fund grants are now available.
The grant program was created from proceeds earned through the Logan County Farm Bureau Agriculture Impact Fund Reverse Raffle event.
The purpose of the Impact Fund is to support projects and events that will expand and grow agriculture’s footprint in the county and encourage youth development in agriculture. Grants will be offered to any organization in Logan County that promotes the well-being and enrichment of youth involved in our county’s agriculture community.
Projects must be over $500 to apply for the regular grant.
In addition, the Farm Bureau announces the second year of its mini-grant program, which is capped at $500 per project. The mini grant program is available to organizations, classrooms, or clubs that teach agriculture concepts and are involved in youth development. The county will award four mini grant projects this cycle.
Mini-grant and grant timeline:
• All submissions may begin after Sept. 17;
• Grant and mini grant applications are due Nov. 1;
• Upon submission, grants will go through two review committees. All grant recipients will be notified by Dec. 1 regarding their application success.
The fund’s grant applications are evaluated competitively, and the projects awarded must be completed by Nov. 1, 2026.
“The goal and hope of our program is to award as many projects as we can to see agriculture’s footprint expand in the county,” Logan County Farm Bureau Senior Organization Director Jill Smith said. “In the previous eight years of the program, the county was able to award over $70,000 in grant dollars for agriculture projects in our county.”
Grant applications are available at the Farm Bureau website at www.ofbf.org/counties/logan or by request.
