Through the generous gifts of individual contributors, bequests and memorial donations to Mary Rutan Foundation’s scholarship program, Mary Rutan Foundation provides financial support annually to local students majoring in healthcare-related programs.
Since 1992, Mary Rutan Foundation has awarded nearly $2.6 million to local scholars. These funds have supported the education of over 1,200 current and future healthcare workers.
“The generous donors that have supported Mary Rutan Foundation’s scholarship program make it possible to award scholarships to all local students that meet the eligibility requirements as well as provide scholarships to the students for multiple years during their programs of study,” Mary Rutan Foundation Chief Operating Officer Tammy Gump said,.
“We are very pleased with the increase in the number of applications we received this year and the various programs they chose to pursue.”
