Bellefontaine’s boys golf team was the host for the 28th annual Ryan Reynolds Invitational at Liberty Hills Golf Course on Thursday.
A total of 10 teams were in the field. St. Marys was the champion with a team score of 300.
The Chieftains had 338 for fifth place. Collen Brugler led with 79, followed by Kyle Boop with 85, Noah Smith at 86 and Cody Hudson with 88.
Indian Lake was part of the action, with a team score of 348.
The Lakers’ Joe Cummins had the low round of 81. He was followed by Crew McPherson with 87, Jaxon Snipes with 89, and Cooper Hall at 91.
Other scores were Kade Richardson (96) and Matt Culp (108).

On Friday, Bellefontaine had a team score of 368 in the Arrow Invitational at Windy Knoll.
Collen Brugler had the low round of 87, followed by Kyle Boop (88), Cody Hudson (94) and Noah Smith (99).
Bellefontaine will travel to Bluffton for an invitational on Monday, while Indian Lake returns to action Tuesday against Shawnee at Prairie View Golf Club.

GIRLS GOLF
Lady Tigers get wins
West Liberty-Salem defeated Southeastern 200 to 202 on Friday at Liberty Hills.
Olivia Reichardt had 45, followed by Geneva Estep with 47, Grace Jones with 53 and and Taylor Cook 55. Marisa Smith rounded it out with a 65.
Southeastern’s scores were Alexis Dornon (41), MaryEllen Moore (52), Kaylee Billet (52) and Livi Bonifay (57).
The Tigers won by two strokes over Northeastern on Wednesday at National Links, 229 to 231. Olivia Reichardt had the low round of 52 for WL-S. Geneva Estep (55), Taylor Cook (59) and Grace Jones (63) also contributed to the team score. Marisa Smith put up a 67.
Scores for Northeastern were Grace Jung (56), McKenna Kelly (58), Lindsey Heskett (58) and Anna Roof (59).
West Liberty-Salem is now 2-1 on the season. They will face Madison Plains on Tuesday at Locust Hills. Play begins ar 4:30 p.m.
