HARDIN COUNTY — Firefighters from Logan, Hardin and Auglaize counties responded Tuesday morning, July 15, to a house fire at 7345 State Route 67, Kenton.
Richland Township firefighters were alerted to the fire about 9:20 a.m.
No physical injuries to the home’s occupants or firefighters were reported, Richland Township firefighters said.
The cause of the blaze has yet to be determined.
Damage estimates for the single-story home with a metal roof were not immediately available.
Charles and Bianca Kelley own the home, according to Hardin County Auditor records.
Firefighters from Wayne Township, Roundhead, Kenton, Ridgeway, Alger, McGuffey, Huntsville, Bellefontaine, Ridgeway and Indian Joint Fire District assisted at the scene, along with BKP Ambulance District, BMRT squad and deputies of the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
Firefighters were on scene for more than four hours and S.R. 67 was closed to traffic in the area for about three hours.
