Designed for children between the ages of 5 and 8, the Cloverbud 4-H program presents an introduction to topics like animals, art, science and community service. Once a child finishes, around second-grade, they’re ready to graduate to a regular 4-H club.

With that in mind, 16 Cloverbuds celebrated their successful completion at a brief ceremony on Thursday, July 10. The event was part of the 2025 Logan County Fair.

As you move into the next stage of 4-H, you’ll get to try even more exciting projects,” Olivia Ruffner, Logan County 4-H educator, told the graduates. “Whether you want to show animals, build rockets, sew a quilt, grow a garden, or help your community, the possibilities are endless.”

Each child received a certificate and, after the ceremony, some ice cream before they left.
