At least one person is custody after agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation raided a city residence early Wednesday morning, May 7.
Local officials confirmed with the Examiner that Brady O. Shellhammer, 26, was taken into custody after a raid at 220 Terrance Dr.
Shellhammer is being held on federal felony charges related to possible animal cruelty or animal cruelty video crimes, local officials said.
The suspect is currently lodged at the Franklin County Corrections Center in Columbus.
Local law enforcement was notified in advance of the raid as a courtesy.
The Examiner’s call to the Cincinnati FBI field office Friday morning, May 16 for additional information about the incident has not yet been returned.
