Gary A. Williams, 78, of Huntsville, OH passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Ohio Hospice of Dayton.
Gary was born on August 31, 1946, in Kenton, OH, a son of the late Willard M. and Etta Lene Shough Williams. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Williams Garber.
Gary is survived by three children, Scott Williams of Jackson Center, OH, Kevin Williams of Lexington, KY, and Melissa (Doug Carter) of Sylvania, OH, seven grandchildren, three great grandsons, three siblings, Don (June) Williams of Lexington, KY, Everett (Cindy) Williams and Penny Cummins, both of Marysville, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
Gary was a 1965 graduate of Indian Lake High School. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving as a signalman on a mini destroyer during Vietnam. Gary retired as an engineer in the paint department at Honda of America Marysville Plant in 2002 after 22 plus years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, cooking, and visiting with family and friends. Gary was an avid OSU Buckeyes fan and loved animals, especially his dog, Jasper.
Private inurnment will be in Huntsville Cemetery with military honors proved by the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard at a later date.
