BMS Robotics team earns Excellence Award

Bellefontaine Middle School’s Robotics teams had an outstanding performance at the VEX robotics competition in Mount Vernon on Friday, Jan 3.

Team 7865B “It’s Whatever,” made up of Greyson Huffman, Max Miranda, Charlie Moreland and Chloe O’Choke went undefeated throughout the event until their final match, where they faced a tough loss due to a disqualification.

Despite this setback, the team’s exceptional performance earned them the top prize Excellence Award, recognizing their achievements in design, programming and teamwork.

Additionally, Teams 7865F “Banana Boys” and 7865X “X-Force” advanced to the semifinals as an alliance pair, showcasing great strategy and collaboration.

Team 7865G “We Lost the Marker” also performed admirably, making it to the quarterfinals.
