Possible injuries in U.S. 33 crash

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle crash about that occurred about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, in the eastbound lanes of U.S. Route 33 near State Route 292.

Patric Dallace, 19, of Kenton, was driving an eastbound 2004 Ford Explorer on U.S. 33 and attempted to merge into the right lane when his vehicle struck an eastbound 2022 Jeep Compass.

Dallace sustained possible injuries and was transported by Tri-Valley EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to reports.

The Jeep’s driver, Samatha Horsley, 33, of Bellefontaine, was not injured. She was wearing a seat belt.

The vehicles each reportedly sustained minor damage and the Explorer was later towed from the scene by a private vehicle.
