Henry, Huffman crowned fair royalty

Peyton Henry of West Liberty and Addison Huffman of West Mansfield were crowned Sunday as the 2024 Logan County Fair King and Queen. The ceremony, staged in front of a packed sale barn audience, marked the beginning of a week-long celebration of agriculture and community spirit.

Peyton Henry, a recent graduate of Benjamin Logan High School and member of Liberty Livestock 4-H Club and Benjamin Logan FFA, was selected as this year’s fair King. He has been an active participant in 4-H for ten years and serves on the Logan County Junior Fair Board, specializing in dairy beef feeders, dairy heifers, and dairy cows.

Addison Huffman, a junior at Benjamin Logan High School and member of Benjamin Logan FFA, was honored as the Logan County Fair Queen. She also serves as the President of the Logan County Junior Fair Board and is known for her expertise in raising and showing market turkeys.

Alongside Peyton and Addison, Eva Carney of Lakeview was named the 2024 Logan County Fair Queen Runner-up. Eva, a recent graduate of Indian Lake High School and member of Indian Lake/OHP FFA Chapter, has been an active participant in various fair activities, including managing show results and showcasing market chickens.

Also recognized during the evening were Brianna Blair of Rushsylvania, who was named the 2024 Logan County Fair Princess, and the 2024 Cloverbud Royalty including Maverick Cooksey, Cohen Elliott, Harper McClintick, Sophia McClintick, Nash Pugh, and Finley Saylor.
