‘My Fair Lady’ set for June 14-16

1007

What happens when a Cockney East Ender meets London high society? It’s a clash of cultures, to be sure. Come see how it all plays out as flower girl Eliza Doolittle, played by Charity Lowe, center right, learns proper English from snooty phonetics professor Henry Higgins, played by Ian Fullerton, center left, in the musical My Fair Lady at the Holland Theatre next weekend. Full of memorable songs, lots of humor and a reminder of the importance of knowing who you really are, this beloved classic will, as they say, delight the whole family. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15, as well as a matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16. Tickets may be purchased at theholland.org, or at the box office, 127 E. Columbus Avenue. For box office hours and other information, visit the website or call (937) 592-9002. (SUSIE JARVIS/THE PHOTO BOOTH)
