Driver charged with OVI

Natalie Breeding, 56, of Lakeview, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs related to a traffic stop Wednesday, Dec. 27.

Officers of the Washington Township Police Department were on patrol about 9:10 p.m. Township Road 239 near State Route 720 and conducted a traffic stop on Breeding’s vehicle for a turn signal violation.

Upon making contact with the defendant, signs of impairment were observed. Upon exiting the vehicle, officers observed she had urinated herself. Breeding admitted to drinking two beers earlier in the day.

She submitted to field sobriety tests and was subsequently was taken into custody. Breeding was transported to the Logan County Jail, where she submitted to a breath test, with a result of was 0.224 blood alcohol content.
