DeGraff area natives and siblings Tyler and Monica Slaven and fellow volunteers helped to deliver 9,091 toys to Nationwide Children’s Hospital earlier this month following the Ohio Virtual Academy’s ninth annual toy drive, which included a number of local collection sites in Logan County. Tyler and Monica started the toy drive in 2015 in an effort to help the hospitalized children enjoy a new toy during the holiday season. The siblings continue to support the drive working alongside students in OHVA’s Agricultural Society to collect and deliver the toys to the children at the Columbus hospital. (SUBMITTED PHOTO)
