The Bellefontaine High School Drama Club presents their one-act play, “The Pitch” at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, in the BHS auditorium.
It’s a 30-minute, cheesy and lighthearted play where a hopeful writer pitches idea after terrible idea to a producer for different TV movies and shows. It’s very silly and whimsical. Admission is by donation.
“This drama club is very small (eight people), very inexperienced (all freshmen and sophomores), and very fun. They have been working hard to learn the ‘ins and outs’ of the stage and drama process,” Director Brice Henry said,
“It’s certainly not the most groundbreaking production, and some may even need to have scripts with them. However, they’ve not given up, have put forth many hours of work, and are proud of what they are doing. They deserve to be celebrated. Please come and encourage them this weekend.”
