Crystal Noe, 43, of Bellefontaine, was issued a summons for reportedly assaulting a neighbor around 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, according to a report from officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the area of 450 Kristina Drive on a report the defendant had punched the victim while she was outside with her dog.
The victim showed police injuries sustained to her lip, which was busted and swollen. The victim told police that Noe began yelling at her and approached her and struck her in the mouth. There reportedly is an order of civil protection between the suspect and victim, officers learned.
Contact was made with Noe who denied striking or having any contact with the victim.
Noe was charged with assault and issued a summons.
