Michael Lamb, 55, of Waynesfield, was arrested around 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, by officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department on an outstanding out-of-county warrant and drug charges.
Police on patrol observed Lamb riding his bike in the area of the 200 block of north Detroit Street. Officers have previous interactions with Lamb and suspected he may have an arrest warrant. A check revealed a warrant out of Champaign County for failure to appear.
Police caught up with the suspect on his bike and advised him of the warrant. A search of his person turned up suspected methamphetamine in a front pants pocket, as well as a broken meth pipe.
He was charged with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
