The body found July 4 in Indian Lake has been identified as Melissa Kirkpatrick, 49, of Harrod, the Logan County Coroner’s Office and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources have reported.
The investigation is ongoing following the discovery of a body in the waters of Indian Lake on Tuesday, July 4, at approximately 1:15 p.m. near the docks adjacent to the boat ramp located at the Indian Lake State Park campgrounds.
Authorities have notified her family of the tragic incident. The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, prompting the ongoing investigation by the Logan County Coroner’s Office and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
The Logan County Coroner’s Office and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources are expected to release additional information as the investigation progresses.
