Ashley Wyomic, 38, of Kenton, was charged with illegal conveyance of drugs into a detention facility and illegal possession of drugs after Logan County Jail Corrections officers found an unprescribed narcotic in her person during a booking process.
Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department were dispatched around 7:50 p.m. Thursday, April 27, to the Logan-Hardin County line to take custody of the female who was wanted on a failure to appear warrant out of Bellefontaine Municipal Court.
As she was being lodged in the jail, corrections officers found an orange, Gabbapentin pill for which she did not have a prescription.
She was lodged on the warrant, as well as the additional charges.
